What is ARRL Field Day?
It’s when more than 40,000 ham radios across North America set up temporary transmitting stations to demonstrate ham radio’s science, skills, and service to communities! ARRL Field Day is all about public service, emergency preparedness, and community outreach. This annual event has been happening since 1933!
Who is Beaumont Amateur Radio Club?
The club was founded in 1958 and will mark its 66th anniversary this July! Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics, and communication together. People use HAM radio to talk across town, across the world, and even into space!
