City of Beaumont Invites Public to Planning Charette
The City of Beaumont is planning for the future and invites residents, business owners, and community partners to take part in an upcoming Community Charrette as part of the Beaumont Comprehensive Plan update, scheduled for February 9–13, 2026.
The Beaumont Comprehensive Plan is a long-range roadmap that will guide growth, development, and investment across the city over the next 20 years. The plan addresses key topics such as neighborhoods, transportation, infrastructure, economic opportunity, resilience, and overall quality of life.
The Community Charrette is a hands-on planning process designed to gather ideas, encourage collaboration, and engage the community in shaping Beaumont’s future. The week will include several events open to the public, along with a small number of sessions focused on Lamar University students, ensuring a wide range of perspectives are included in the planning process.
Public events will provide opportunities for residents to share feedback, see ideas develop in real time, and learn how community input will influence the Comprehensive Plan.
All community-wide events are free and open to the public. Additional details, including event times and locations, will be announced soon.
