Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Jimmy Simmons and Friends

Join the McFaddin-Ward House on Friday, October 18 for a night of great jazz during Music at the McFaddins’ featuring Jimmy Simmons and Friends.

A member of the faculty and leadership team at Lamar University for more than four decades and President Emeritus of the university, Simmons is an accomplished musician and talented orchestra leader with an active performance career spanning beyond his tenure at Lamar.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the museum lawn (1906 McFaddin Ave., Beaumont). Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks as they gather on the historic home’s grounds to enjoy a great evening of live entertainment.

The event is admission free and open to the public.
